CAPTURING BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED SPACES
my approach to interiors...
Fun fact, I was a commercial interior designer long before I was a paid photographer. (I clarify 'paid' as I've had a camera in my hand long as I can remember!) Despite not having the desire to design anymore, I STILL love and appreciate design, and know the value of a beautiful, functional space. Getting to capture the spaces designers thoughtfully plan is such a delightful full-circle moment for me and I'm thankful for all the design relationships I built in my first career that are joining me on this venture.
I prioritize natural light and use techniques such as bracketing to create an ideal balance in every interior space. Because lighting is so critical to highlight a finished design, I bring supplemental light and the appropriate gear to be prepared for every lighting scenario. Ideally I prefer to have the designer and stylist (if desired) at the shoot so I'm ensuring I've captured their vision.
A gallery of proof images with light edits is provided within 1 week of the shoot for the designer to select their favorite images to receive full edits. The final quantity of images will vary based on project type and length, but anticipate an average of 10+ finished shots per hour.
